I test drove the 2008 TL and sat in the 2009 TL. The Genesis by far is a larger car with more legroom front and rear. I did not like how clutered that TL steering wheel and dash were. The Genesis was my choice and I'm extremely happy about the decision. The Genesis was much quieter inside than the TL. While that TL handled well I was extremely disappointed with the ride. There's nothing wrong with using some of the proceeds from your trade to pay the typical things that you have to pay at lease signing, like your first month's payment, security deposit, and acquisition fee. Hi LubDub - I plan on visiting this dealer next week - to be clear - you paid 40k for this car versus MSRP of ~42k or did you pay ~36k??? Also - when requesting an on-line quote from them - is it typical for the dealer to get you the color you want via a neighboring dealership or do they more often stick to what's in their inventory? Hi ultrarunner. Honda Finance charges a $595 acquisition fee on every vehicle that it leases. All lessees have to pay this charge. Precision Acura in Princeton, NJ 40,000 for 2009 TL with AWD and TECH traded in my 95000 mile Accord that needed some work on the brake pads and alignment for 6k.
