Hey thanks for the reply, this chevy malibu 09 msrp was 25+k. we liked the color and the two tone leather trim better than camry and i think 21k was a good deal for it. no extra options at this point. i hope there isnt a catch here thats why i wanted to ping the community to see if anyone else also got similar deals. It is really is confusing that GM/Chevy is producing two vehicles both called a Malibu. Please be aware everyone that is getting them confused. The old design Malibu is called the Classic or maybe MAXX The new design Malibu is the 2008 and now the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu. It comes in the LS, LT, and LZ trim. bibo, you are right. The "ALOT OF 08 MALIBUS GOING FOR 13500-15500" comment probably refers to the Malibu Classic. But then again, I saw a TV ad for a Boston area Chevy dealer offering the 2008 Malibu LS and Pontiac G6 for $11,880. I agree that there are too many pages on the dic. The 2 of the 10 that I use mostly are the temperature and the mpg' s. I find that I just count four button pushes to get to the mpgs and 6 button pushes to get back to the temperature. With a base 10 system maybe this is Chevy's way to get us to think metric. at my Chevy dealer today and noticed they had 6 2009 Malibu's in stock. This dealership never had more than 2 when I was looking. My salesman said nothing is moving due to the economy and the merger talks with Chrysler may be scaring some away. The Employee pricing cleared out alot of cars. Read More...

I bought my 08 2LT Malibu at Lewes Auto Mall! Small world--they take care of all four of my GM cars. Super dealership to work with! Can you tell me about your wheels? They look different from the 2LT wheels that I have on mine and that appear to be identical to what is shown on Chevy website for 2009. Is it because you got the 6cyl? Read More...
