What We Know

Although the 2011 Hummer H4 was approved for production, its future is now on hold. High gas prices have significantly slowed the sales of the current Hummer lineup and GM has announced that it is looking at all options when it comes to the future of the Hummer brand. One of those options is the sale of Hummer to another company, although downsizing the current lineup is also a possibility. The H4 would certainly fit into the latter plan as it would be the smallest Hummer to date with a footprint similar to the Toyota FJ Cruiser. Until GM decides on a plan of action, however, the fate of the H4 is very much up in the air.
